Andreas Rechkemmer

Andreas Rechkemmer was the Executive Director of IHDP (International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change) until Summer 2009.

He is currently involved with the United Nations Institute for Environment and Human Security, and teaching at the University of Cologne and the Beijing Normal University.

He specialised in the following fields: United Nations System Studies (with focus on reform options), Global Governance, International Environmental Governance, Global Change Studies, Institutions and Systems Innovation, Education for Sustainable Development and Human Security, Knowledge and Social Learning.
